To say that Jerry Jenkins is a prolific author would be an
understatement. His books have sold more than 70 million copies. Twenty-one of
his titles have reached the New York
Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal. In his new book, The Valley of Dry Bones, Jenkins tells a
story of how a 17-year drought, earthquakes, and wildfires leave California uninhabitable
and irreparable by forcing its citizens to move out of the state. Less than one
percent of its population remains but a contingency of 16 feels called by God
to stay at their own risk to minister to the people. These remaining people
face a clash of cultures, religions, ethnicities, that pits friend against
friend and inevitably puts the future of the country on the balance. To find
out what happens next, read Jenkins’s newest novel, The Valley of Dry Bones.
