Priceless by Joel and Luke Smallbone

James Stevens at one point in his life, was a good man and had a great life but now he is at one of the darkest crossroads of his life. In Priceless, Joel and Luke Smallbone chronicle the “priceless moment” that has been part of the band from the beginning, reminding women of their worth and encouraging men to respect and honor women. In the novel, James is angry and can’t hold a steady job and agrees to drive a box truck on a cross country trip for cash. But he eventually discovers he is actually delivering people. Does he change his mind by delivering them as he had initially committed? Or does he save the lives of these individuals? Does his conscience and conviction change the course of his future based on the decision he makes? Or does he suppress his conscience to get the cash he so desperately needs?
